Our Feeding Program is a vital initiative that addresses food insecurity in vulnerable communities. Through our Hot Kitchens, we provide nourishing meals to those who need them most.
In response to the hardships caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, SCANN established two Hot Kitchens - one at the Ronda Slums site and another at the SCANN Center site. These kitchens continue to serve over 1,400 hot meals daily to the most needy in the community.
Our Hot Kitchens not only provide immediate relief from hunger but also create a sense of community and support for vulnerable populations. By ensuring regular access to nourishing meals, we help improve health outcomes and overall well-being, ensuring children return home and not to the streets.
